Albertus Swanepoel is a New York based designer who is famous in the fashion world for his fantastic hats! He believes, “Hat are like sunglasses. They detract and attract attention at the same time.” Hats are a great accessory for any season as they can cover a bad hair day or make a simple outfit something extraordinary. He started his career in South Africa, but moved to New York in 1989 where he began selling women’s hats at FIT. He has collaborated with big names such as Alexander Wang and Marc Jacobs.
